SSI is truly a godsend for Webmasters. It makes it so that you don't have to update EVERY SINGLE PAGE when you change ONE thing on the layout of navbar. Instead, you will only have to edit 1 page, and it will affect all the pages. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1]
Make 2 .TXT files. Title them "top.txt" and "bottom.txt".

Step 2]
Go to one of your pages, and copy ALL of the coding before your content starts. Save this under the "top.txt" file you created. Do the same for all the coding after your content, and save it under the "bottom.txt" file you created.

Step 3]
Remove the coding before and after your content from all of your pages. Replace the coding before your content with the following code:
<!--#include virtual="top.txt"-->

Replace the coding after your content with the following code:
<!--#include virtual="bottom.txt"-->

Step 4]
If done correctly, all of your pages should still look the same, but now all you have to do to edit all of them si edit the "top.txt" and "bottom.txt" files.

.::+ PHP SSI +::.

If your host supports PHP, then you can also use PHP styled SSI. Simply rename all files to ".php", and instead of the codes i gave you above, use the following:

For the top:
{?PHP include('top.txt'); ?}

For the bottom:
{?PHP include('bottom.txt'); ?}

Replace the "{}"'s with "<>"'s.
