- What is Pokerus?
Pokerus is a "disease" that your Pokemon can get. It's not a bad disease, it actually helps your Pokemon. How does a disease help your Pokemon? Well, that's what this guide's for!

- What does Pokerus do exactly?

Pokerus doubles the ammount of Effort Values that you recieve after fighting a Pokemon. This is very handy when EV training, as it cuts the time in half. To learn more about EVs, check out our EV Guide.

- Cool, how do i get Pokerus?

The only way of getting Pokerus is by fighting an infected Pokemon. However, there is a 2 in 65,535 chance of encountering a pokemon with Pokerus in the wild, so good luck getting it. If your friend has Pokerus, battle one of his/her infected pokemon, and you should get Pokerus.

- Does Pokerus spread?

Yes, an infected Pokemon in your party will infect your other party Pokemon. To make it spread, have the infected Pokemon in your party, and battle random wild pokemon and trainers. Eventually, it will spread, but it may take a while.

- Does Pokerus ever go away?

Yes, Pokerus will dissapear after 24 hours have gone by. Don't worry, even after Pokerus goes away from a Pokemon, it's effects wwill still be there. Once it's gone, a little smilie face will appear in your pokemon's info page. Also, if an infected pokemon is in the PC, however, it's Pokerus will never be healed.
