Sydney

Sydney specializes in Dark type Pokemon. However, many of his Pokemon are dual typed. So, either let that hinder you, or use it to your advantage. If you chose Blaziken as your starter, then you should have no problem. Just watch out for his Crawdaunt.

Mightyena: [Dark], Level 46

Shiftry: [Dark / Grass], Level 48

Crawdaunt: [Dark / Water], Level 48

Cacturne: [Dark / Grass], Level 46

Absol: [Dark], Level 49

Phoebe

Phoebe is just this weird islander girl that uses Ghost types. If you even joke about using normal or fighting moves on them I will kill you over the internet. Sableye has no weaknesses, but it doesn't have the best defenses either, so just hit it hard with whatever you have.

Dusclops: [Ghost], Level 51

Dusclops: [Ghost], Level 49

Banette: [Ghost], Level 49

Sableye: [Ghost / Dark], Level 50

Glacia

Glacia is this one blond chick that has taken a liking to Ice types. Ugghh, Blaziken, again, should fair pretty well here, but her Sealeo and Walrein will definitely cause it problems. Catching a Machoke or Hariyama in Victory Road and leveling it up a bit isn't a bad idea for use in this fight.

Glalie: [Ice], Level 50

Drake

Like many Elites in the past, Drake specializes in Dragon type Pokemon. A good Bulky Water with Ice Beam (Like Swampert, or Walrein) should be able to dispose of him with little trouble.

Shelgon: [Dragon], Level 52

Salamence: [Dragon / Flying], Level 55

Flygon: [Dragon / Ground], Level 53

Kingdra: [Dragon / Water], Level 53

Altaria: [Dragon / Flying], Level 54

Champion Wallace

Wallace was the previous 8th Gym Leader in Ruby & Sapphire. However, in Emerald, he gets promoted to Champion. He like water types. This is pretty much the only Elite that Sceptile actually has an advantage over. Other GRass types, and even Electric types will do just fine as well.
